Diesel Mechanic
-
Follow inspection procedures
-
Test-drive vehicles to diagnose malfunctions and determine vehicle condition
-
Interpret diagnostic test results
-
Inspect brake systems, steering, transmissions, engines and other parts of vehicles
-
Perform routine maintenance procedures, including oil changes, lubricating equipment, and parts and checking batteries
-
Repair and replace malfunctioning parts and electrical equipment
-
Maintain vehicle records to document services and repairs
Requirements:
-
High School diploma or GED (Required)
-
Minimum 1 year of mechanic experience (Required)
-
Heavy truck maintenance experience (Preferred)
-
Mechanic Trade school experience (Preferred)
-
Valid driver’s license required.
-
Must be positive mindset.
-
Must be insurable to drive company vehicles.
-
Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
-
Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
-
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
-
Ability to speak, write and read the English language.
